Music forms an important part of worship at
Gordon Head United Church and all ages are encouraged to share their
musical talents.
The Gordon Head United
Church choir is lead by our Director of Music Sue Doman who is a well
known and accomplished force in the Victoria area. The choir’s
repertoire ranges from classical to modern to African-American
spirituals.
Gordon Head United Church
offers a number of choral scholarships to students studying voice at the
university. Currently we have a tenor and a soprano scholar who sing
during worship services. Applications for choral scholars are always
welcome by contacting Adele McDonald

Throughout the year, the
Music Directions committee sponsors a number of different musical
services and groups. These have included a jazz communion, visiting
choirs and bands and musical presentations
by congregational members.
